Caramelized onion pasta
Lets get into this Recipe

Pasta is a staple in many households, and for good reason. It’s versatile, easy to cook, and can be paired with almost anything to create a delicious meal. One of my favorite ways to elevate a simple pasta dish is by incorporating caramelized onions. Their sweet and savory flavor adds a depth of taste that is truly irresistible. This recipe is a creamy, comforting dish that brings together the richness of caramelized onions, the heat of chili oil, and the smoothness of cream, all balanced with Italian seasoning and a touch of parmesan. Lets make caramelized onion pasta with chilli oil.

To start, you’ll want to thinly slice a red onion and get it caramelizing in some hot olive oil. This step is crucial because itโs where all the deep, sweet flavors develop. The key is to cook the onions on medium heat for about 6-7 minutes until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
While your onions are working their magic, you can prepare your pasta. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add a couple of teaspoons of salt, and cook your pasta according to the package instructions. Spaghetti works wonderfully here, but you can use any pasta you have on hand.

Once your onions are caramelized, add in some chopped garlic cloves and a splash of chili oil for a little kick. Pour in the cream, stir in a tablespoon of Italian seasoning, and season with salt to taste. If youโre feeling indulgent, sprinkle in some grated parmesan and a handful of chopped parsley.
This creates a luxurious, velvety sauce that clings beautifully to the pasta. Once the pasta is cooked and drained, toss it in the creamy onion mixture, ensuring every strand is coated with that delicious sauce. Serve it up, and enjoy a taste of Italy in your own home! This caramelized onion pasta is a crowd pleaser.
