To start, we take the ramen block and cut it in half. One half is chopped into small pieces and set aside for later, while the other half is cooked in the microwave for two minutes, following the instructions on the packaging. This process gives us the perfect base to build our dish. Once the ramen is cooked, it’s time to bring some heat to the kitchen. In a pan, we add a generous splash of chili oil and toast the crushed ramen pieces on high heat for a couple of minutes until they are golden and crispy. This step adds a delightful crunch to our dish, which we then set aside for the final assembly.

Next, in the same pan, we heat up 2 teaspoons of oil and add 2 cloves of crushed garlic, letting the garlic brown and infuse the oil with its aromatic flavor. This takes about a minute on medium heat. Once the garlic is fragrant and slightly browned, it’s time to add the frozen veggies. Saute them until they are soft and tender, creating a vibrant and nutritious base for our dish. The combination of garlic and vegetables brings a wonderful depth of flavor and a pop of color to our fried rice.

Finally, we bring everything together. Add the cooked ramen, the seasoning packet from the ramen cup, and a whisked egg to the pan. Cook on high heat for about two minutes, or until the egg is fully cooked and incorporated into the mixture. This step ensures that all the ingredients meld together beautifully. For an extra touch, top the dish with green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil. This ramen fried rice is not only quick and easy to make but also versatile and packed with flavor. Enjoy it as a hearty meal on its own or as a side dish – either way, it’s sure to satisfy your cravings! This ramen fired rice will leave you wanting more!
